Our Story
Welcome to Poppy Dot Flowers 🌸
Poppy Dot has been a dream of mine for a long time, and I’ve finally taken the leap and launched.
I’m currently finishing my Level 2 Diploma in Floristry at Otley College, having already achieved my Level 1 with a distinction.
Before this, my previous job enabled me to work within event organisation, where I loved creating table centrepieces and incorporating flowers into every occasion I could. No matter the event, I always found a way to bring blooms and beautiful arrangements into the design.
Eventually, I realised this was what I truly wanted to do. I enrolled in my Level 1 course and studied alongside my full-time job. From the very beginning, I fell completely in love with floristry — it became my escape into a world of stunning blooms and lush foliage.
After completing Level 1, I fell pregnant with my beautiful baby girl, Ettie. She inspired me even more and gave me the determination to fully pursue my dream.
And so, Poppy Dot Flowers was born — named after my stepdaughter and daughter. This business has been built from love, passion, and a genuine dedication to the craft.
