Poppy Dot has been a dream of mine for many years, and I’m so proud to have finally turned that dream into a reality.
My love for flowers began long before I became a florist. With a background in event organisation, I always found myself drawn to the creative side of things, particularly designing beautiful table centrepieces and finding ways to incorporate flowers into every occasion.
Eventually, I realised that floristry was where my heart truly belonged. I took the leap and enrolled at Otley College, studying alongside my full-time job. From the very beginning, I fell completely in love with the craft, the creativity and the endless possibilities that come with working with beautiful blooms and foliage.
I'm now a Level 2 qualified florist, having achieving straight Distinctions across all areas, a milestone I'm incredibly proud of and one that has only strengthened my passion for floristry.
Along the way, I welcomed my beautiful daughter, Ettie, who gave me even more determination to follow my dreams and build something truly special.
And so, Poppy Dot Flowers was born. Named after my stepdaughter and daughter, Ettie, Poppy Dot is a true family business, with love and heart at the centre of everything I do.
Inspired by the natural beauty of flowers, my style is romantic, garden-inspired and effortlessly elegant. I love creating designs that feel organic, full of movement and personality, celebrating the individual beauty of every bloom.
From beautiful bouquets and heartfelt farewell flowers to weddings, celebrations and creative workshops, every design is thoughtfully created with care, passion and attention to detail.
Poppy Dot Flowers is so much more than a business to me. It's a dream built on family, creativity and a genuine love for what I do.
